The Next Chapter of Intelligence: Meet the Startups in AI Cohort 2026!

After an extensive search for startups building the next generation of AI, we are pleased to announce the AI Cohort 2026. From a global pool of thousands of applicants, five companies have been selected for this program—a strategic partnership between Accel Atoms and Google’s AI Futures Fund (AIFF).
The Kickoff: Bengaluru’s Growing AI Ecosystem

On March 11, 2026, the program officially began at Google Ananta in Bengaluru. While the cohort is global, with teams spanning from Singapore to Silicon Valley, launching in Bengaluru underscores the city’s vital role in the global AI ecosystem.
The kickoff focused on deep technical and product development sessions with Google. The day included Founder Connect with AI Futures Fund, where we were joined by select early-stage AI founders a special keynote by Josh Woodward, VP of Gemini, Google Labs, and AI Studio at Google. These weren't just networking events; they were working sessions where founders engaged with leads from Accel and Google to align their technical roadmaps with long-term goals.
Meet the Cohort: Solving Complex Problems

The AI Cohort 2026 represents a diverse group of founders tackling significant "white spaces" in the industry, from scientific research to enterprise operations.
Dodge AI: Intelligent ERP Maintenance

- Mission: Dodge AI focuses on the maintenance of SAP systems, aiming to reduce the friction often found in large-scale ERP environments.
- The Impact: By using specialized agents to manage system upkeep, Dodge AI helps companies maintain their most critical business data with less manual intervention.
- Founders: Led by CEO Rebhav Bharadwaj and CTO Aditya Thakur.
K-Dense: An AI Partner for Science

- Mission: K-Dense is designed to help researchers overcome bottlenecks in life sciences, physics, and chemistry.
- The Impact: They are building an "AI Co-Scientist" to assist with scientific reasoning. Their open-source tools are already seeing wide adoption within the research community.
- Founders: Founded by Timothy Kassis and David Zhang.

LevelPlane.ai: Streamlining Manufacturing Procurement
- Mission: Simplifying how industrial companies source parts. Rather than a simple tool, it acts as an intelligent system that understands engineering intent, helping automate the path from technical drawings to finalized sourcing decisions.
- The Impact: By interpreting complex drawings directly, LevelPlane helps global OEMs manage costs and reduce the manual labor typically required for RFQ cycles.
- Founders: Led by CEO Vineeth Rajagopal and President Suri Chawla.
Persistence AI: Nuanced Voice Intelligence

- The Impact: They focus on managing complex enterprise communications with a level of nuance that traditional chatbots lack, helping companies scale their support more effectively.
- Founder: Led by CEO Utkarsh Marwaha.
Zingroll: New Frontiers in Streaming

- Mission: Zingroll is a streaming platform dedicated to AI-native movies and shows, providing a new venue for creators to reach audiences directly.
- The Impact: Using an intelligent discovery system, Zingroll helps viewers find high-quality AI-generated content. Their early trailers have already garnered significant interest across social media.
- Founder: Led by CEO Harshit Yadav.
Mentorship and the Path Ahead
A central part of the kickoff was a Fireside Chat with Josh Woodward, Prayank Swaroop, and Prateek Jain from Google DeepMind. They discussed the critical need for velocity & experimentation, along with white spaces in the market and how the Indian AI landscape is diverging from the early-stage US ecosystem. The video will be out soon on Accel’s YouTube channel.
The journey continues with a virtual Speaker Series (April–May 2026), featuring insights from distinguished speakers from Google & DeepMind. The program will conclude in June with a visit to Mountain View, California, where founders will get hands-on guidance from AI Leaders and the broader investor community.
From Ideas to Impact
The AI Cohort 2026 is about more than just technology; it’s about the people building the tools that will define how we work and create. From the labs in Bengaluru to the final showcase in Silicon Valley, these founders are showing that the most meaningful shifts happen when intelligence is applied to solve real-world challenges.
