Amrit Acharya is the co-founder and CEO of Zetwerk, an end-to-end manufacturing supply chain solutions provider. He has ample experience working in eminent companies like McKinsey & Company, Monsanto Growth Ventures, ITC Limited, Robert Bosch and more.
The IIT Madras graduate quit his high-paying job with McKinsey in San Francisco to fulfil his dream of starting his own company. Amrit analysed the need for software in the manufacturing market and with his three friends from IIT - Srinath Ramakkrushnan, Vishal Chaudhary and Rahul Sharma - started Zetwerk in May 2018 as a B2B software venture that was designed to help companies manage supply chains. Later, they pivoted to a SaaS company custom manufacturing, where companies could discover suppliers.
In August 2021, Zetwerk raised $150 million in a Series E investment round and entered the unicorn club.
